London Youth Choirs (LYC) aims is to shape the lives and futures of thousands of young singers in London through the power and shared joy of singing.
Through a citywide community of choirs and free school and community programmes, the charity brings young people together to find their voice, develop their musical skills, and experience the joy, connection and opportunities that singing can bring.
Musically ambitious and intentionally inclusive, LYC believes that singing is for everyone and particularly works to improve access to music to disadvantaged young people, removing any barriers that stand in their way.
The Symondson Foundation is proud to be a regular supporter since 2021 and, in 2025, we recommitted to unrestricted, multiyear funding for a further 3 years.
